Daydream

Daydream
11 x 15 inch acrylic on paper

Available

This painting may be purchased directly from my website: elizabethchapmanartwork by clicking: HERE or email me: elizabethchapmanart@gmail.com

These have been my latest inspirations! I will post them one at a time, but the fastest way to view all of them would be to go directly to my website. Found in the small painting category by clicking: HERE. They are on heavy paper, Arches 140b acid free archival watercolor paper. Acrylic paints are used and I use acrylic markers for gesturally mark making. There are many layers of paint and texture. Lastly they are varnished. So even though they are on paper they are as durable as any canvas painting. Placing them under glass is optional. Sold unframed allows flexible for personal matt/framing choices.

Thank you!
XOXO Elizabeth

This painting went through several distinct stages before this emerged...and I love it!! so, I stopped! Lots of surface texture as I was playing with the modeling paste again.

What's next?  Well, I have found myself being inspired by flowers lately and have been revisiting photos of flowers from years past.  The peonies are blooming!.... just got to capture a painting of those.  It has been a most wonderful Spring here in Missouri this year.  If you've ever visited my web gallery you would have noticed that I have several categories of abstract paintings.  My main focus is the large abstract paintings, but I also work with floral abstracts and there is also a heart series.   It is refreshing for me to work with these various categories.

Lately, I have been feeling inspired by flowers...

so, I will follow.....

stay tuned!
