Recently, I had a request for some hearts to be framed and hung in a grouping for a guest bathroom.  In looking at my "Hearts" I realized that there were very few of these on paper left.  So, I got busy restocking the hearts.   I painted a total of eleven of these mixed media hearts on 140lb. watercolor paper, which do require framing.  The mixed media include watercolor, gouache, acrylic and pastel.

Perhaps you've noticed or maybe not...but I've been on a track with painting small paintings lately.  I do have a large one on the easel, but not sure if it's finished yet.  It's always a period of adjustment when going back to working with the larger spaces.  These little ones are great exercises and make for a wonderful collection of small colorful paintings on a wall.

These were among my first very colorful abstracts.  This last one was difficult to photograph with all of the reds.  It is a large painting that was inspired by a still life set of bottles.  Colors are beautiful!

These last two years have been an incredible journey in which I have had the opportunity to develop and grow my God given talent.  I have learned SO much!!!
