We had the opportunity to visit Orange Beach, Alabama this summer where the inspiration for this painting came from. It's interesting to see how the first painting after a trip has been influenced by that area of the country we were in. Here are a few more and their locations, Equa from St. Petes, Florida and Sunup from Santa Fe, New Mexico. What do you think?!

I work intuitively with one idea, mark or color leading to the next then the next, and next until a painting emerges. Much like going on a trip without a plan. Pure adventure!
