I've been playing again with modeling paste.....this time as I first began this painting I used it not only to texturize the surface but to knock out the composition. From there I just followed the lead....and finished with a touch of Periwrinkle.

love the latest pieces you've been creating. The soft colour palette is beautiful and the texturing just adds that much more.
