A wonderful chinese meal was prepared by my cousin, Chef David, this last weekend.  This plate is called a  Pu Pu platter, which includes egg rolls, pot stickers, grilled beef and chicken, crab rangoon and marinated pineapple wraps.  Then we each had a vegetable stir fry prepared with our choice of one of his five homemade sauces which included a peanut, sesame, orange teriyaki, pineapple sweet and sour and also a ginger.  Preparations for this meal took three days!  Well worth it, as it was all so delicious.  Our meal was topped off with a Cranberry/Apple pie and ice cream that our daughter Emma brought can be seen on "Food Coma", click here.    yum, yum!!

So what does all this have to do with the painting?  They were all created around the same time, both so luscious and to be enjoyed!  Lately, I've been back to painting floral abstracts and will add them to my web gallery as they have been completed.

There is nothing like a good meal, and yours sounded so unique and fulfilling. I like the greens, the earthy feel to the background.
