Brushes used with this painting: The actual mixing of colors happens for me on the canvas itself as I push paint around.  I used a large round brush, a roller, an old stiff brush (love these!) and at one point my eye caught a piece of cardboard sitting on the table.  Can you tell where I used it?  Lastly, a fine brush was used for detailing the straight and curved lines.

I really enjoy your art pieces, I think I could learn from you about compositions. They are very interesting, and I appreciate how you describe your process. How fun to just decide to plop in some cardboard marks...very creative.

I love to mix my colours on canvas as well, it's always interesting to see how they will meld together. Great composition, wonderful colour and textural elements
