Sittin' Blues
Expressionistic Abstract

This painting is the result of another blog that I have gotten involved with, in which a challenge is presented about every 2-3 weeks. The same photograph to work from is given to everyone. I decided that this time I would just go with more of an abstract expressionistic style rather than a realistic representation of the photo. I chose to work with the blues and a more gestural approach to perhaps capture more of the inner side of this man.
