Golden Harvest by Elizabeth Chapman

I kind of hate to comment on what I see in the abstracts, because I feel like it can take away from what others see. I even think titles can sometimes take away as well. This one reminds me of summertime in the Ozarks, hot, dry and lots of hayfields. What do you see? If interested in this piece contact me at elizabethchapman@artlover.com

What a compliment from a strong painter such as yourself Elizabeth! I love your abstracts and love that colorful orchid painting also. Mi Casa and Misty Morning are my favorites. These are mere splashes....maybe your blog should be Color Tsunami!

I see a sailboat! ;-)
and a sandy beach.... and thats why I love abstracts....the viewer has to bring so much to it.

Ha! That's exactly what I was going to say (referrring to Kathleen's post). I see a sailboat on a small lake adorned with a few cattails.

Your artwork is beautiful!
