I've been painting a lot lately! So, very thankful for the opportunity to be involved in the creative process. Sometimes the hardest part is to believe and start... once there the creative flow takes over. Enjoy!

About Me

Hi and welcome to my blog!! I'm an abstract expressionist painter working from my home/studio in the beautiful Ozarks. I work intuitively with one idea, mark or color leading to the next then the next, and next until a painting emerges. Much like going on a trip without a plan. Pure adventure! My work has been described as lively, vivid, and bold with a complexity of layers. The majority of my paintings are non-representational, although from time to time I will use florals or figures as the subject matter. All my paintings are ORIGINAL works on canvas or paper. My paintings can be purchased directly from me. Email: elizabethchapmanart@gmail.com. A complete portfolio of my work can be viewed: HERE. I am glad you have found me and I hope you enjoy viewing my paintings. Your support is much appreciated. Thank you!
