Empty nest isn't so bad!!....as we are going through our house cleaning, rearranging and decorating.  Just finished hanging some of my own paintings!!  If I can get some good indoor lighting I'll take some pics and share them.   This painting is much like "New Song" with a lighter palette.  As I've posted before I am experimenting with various other color schemes. 

With all the rearranging, my studio is presently full of the larger abstracts, some of which I just recently brought home from a local gallery.  I'll be working this week with finding storage places.  Ultimately, of course, I would like for them to find their own special homes.  If you've seen one in the past on my blog that has stuck with you, please feel free to inquire.  Just email me a title or a description and we'll see if we can't get an abstract painting hung on your wall!

2010 FAVORITES....

With the new year comes cleaning out the closets, organizing, making those new year resolutions... and well you know it.  I'm very excited and looking forward to the paintings that will come from a new year.  Feeling very inspired!!  I decided to go for a stroll down memory lane and take a look at the creations of 2010 and then I made a slide show for you.  WOW... I painted alot!  I am so very thankful for the homes that were found for many of these paintings.  I would like to thank each of you who have believed and supported me this past year.  Thank you!! ....and here's to 2011!  Have a Blessed Happy New Year!!

My studio has been emptied out and all of my babies are gone.... Friday I took fourteen NEW pieces that will be featured in the December show along with what was previously there.  I am so very thankful to be working with Hawthorn Galleries here in my hometown of Springfield, Missouri. .... and so this week I thought I would do a daily feature    of these new works.  These are high quality contemporary fine art abstracts that can be purchased at a VERY reasonable, affordable price.
