This painting was done as a demonstration piece that I did for a workshop. It was created using a technique that I developed with my very first abstract paintings. Instead of using watercolors as I had once done, I used high flow acrylic paints. These did a really good job in working much like a watercolor with transparent layers of color. A stencil that I made out of paper was used to print the darkest blues. My way of putting those first marks down. Lastly, I found a place to fit it into the piece becoming a focal point, yet hidden.
