More small paintings..."Terra" by Contemporary Artist Elizabeth Chapman

Terra

Acrylic on 8" x 8" wrap canvas

Available from Etsy: HERE

Another small painting.  This one has a similar color palette to an earlier painting, "Nightingale". I think they would complement each other very nicely! It was not intended to be as they were painted weeks apart.

Abstract Painting "Gleam" 8" x 8" ORIGINAL Contemporary Art by Elizabeth Chapman

'Gleam'

Acrylic on 8" x 8" x 3/4" canvas, $50.00

Small yet bold....the majority of these small abstracts are painted with a palette knife.  I may begin with a brush but somehow most always end up with a palette knife in my hand layering and mixing paint on the canvas. This one has some embellishment done with the caps from tubes of paint printed into the wet paint creating the circles.

Effusion, Contemporary Abstract ORIGINAL Painting by Elizabeth Chapman

'Effusion'

Acrylic on 36" x 36" x 1.5" canvas

SOLD

Excited about the completion of this large abstract!  It is very similar to a smaller abstract that recently sold, 'Visceral' and there is another smaller one in the works as a commission based on these two.  This one has lots of surface texture as I worked with building the layers up.  Available!
