Inspirations. I was asked to create a painting using an orange and black color palette for a local show to celebrate the flight of the Monarch butterfly. I believe every artist must have a color that they stay away from as well as one that is pretty much always the go to. Orange is not at all a preferred color of mine. Personally, I just find it difficult to work with. Pink is my mix.  I was not in the least inspired to work with orange. BUT, I said yes and took it on as a challenge.  Fallish.
