"Mini" Abstract Painting, 'Flash' ORIGINAL Contemporary 8" x 8" x 3/4" by Elizabeth Chapman

'Flash'
Acrylic on 8" x 8" x 3/4" gallery wrap canvas
Ready to hang!
$50.00

Lots of surface texture....I am up early this morning working on small abstract paintings.  In all honesty these little ones are more difficult than they appear.  You would think..."small...that couldn't take too long."  I don't totally understand it,  but for me it does seem much easier to work on a larger space.  I do believe it is a good exercise to work in various sizes.  It also gives the person who is not able to purchase a larger work the opportunity to buy a smaller work.  They can speak volumes in a small space or be collected and displayed on a wall.

Interested in this one or any of the other 'mini' abstracts email me: elizabethchapman@artlover.com

I agree, working small is a challenge because it forces you to make your statement in fewer strokes. But it does open the doors for more people to be able to enjoy the art. Beautiful piece, the colour combo really works off each other.
