"Cabernet" was painted over another painting once titled "Intermission", which now no longer exist. I had always liked the composition but felt that I had just not gone far enough with it. One of those that remained in my mind to do something more with. My initial intent was to just punch up the colors in it. Well, that I did and more! It pretty much changed ALOT!! Having painting over another work created much surface texture for this one, which I love.

Love the textural quality of this one. What a difference in your work since your first Daily Paintworks piece. Both styles are good, but this one is far more interesting to me.
