Avola, Modern Original Abstract Painting

'Avola'
Acrylic on 24" x 24" x 1.5" gallery canvas
Available

This is one of the very latest of six paintings that I just recently completed for a show here in Springfield.  To this we added four older paintings for a total of ten which we hung this week for Dr. Carl Price at the  Center for Plastic Surgery.  This painting  has layers of texture and metallic coppers which add a richness that unfortunately does not show up in the photo.
So... what's next?  Well....lately I have been contemplating beginning a new series of paintings that would be titled "Songs of Praise".   We'll see where this goes?!......

This is so beautiful, vibrant and full of life. I can only imagine how rich the metallic would make it. Frustrating when our cameras won't pick up on all those wonderful nuances of colours. You've managed to be very productive even with your limited time :-) Intrigued by your idea for a new series and can't wait to see what comes forth!

Beautiful!! As all your paintings. But I'm missing that great background you used for your blog.
