Coneflower

Well, I managed to do a small painting today. Not sure that it is all that I would have liked it to be, but it was a challenge. I really wasn't sure how I was going to approach doing the center of this flower. That is were problem solving comes in, and with a little experimenting I managed. So, anyway that is my painting for today. Tomorrow is another busy day in the morning. Forecast is calling for an ice storm next week. So, we need to go to the store, bring wood in, check the flashlights and get ready.

This is beautiful! Coneflowers happen to be one of my favorite flowers along with Gerber Daisy. I think you did a great job with the center of the flower. Its really cool that you can paint like this....with so much detail.

I should introduce myself....My name is Angela, and I am a huge follower of your daughters work. (Elsie) She has brought lots of inspiration to my life.
