NEUTRALS

Nuance
Acrylic on 24" x 30" x 1.5" wrap canvas
SOLD

I absolutely love hearing from those who have purchased a work of mine letting me know what the piece has meant to them.  Most of all to be sent a pic of the painting in it's new environment.  This abstract was definitely one of my more subtle 2013 paintings working more with a lighter, softer neutral palette.  Hope to work with it again!

Nuance, Contemporary Abstract Painting, Original Art, Elizabeth Chapman

'Nuance'
Acrylic on 24" x 30" x 1.5" canvas

Sold...thanks!!

Another gessoed over painting.... a new painting over an older one.  If you care to look and see what it was before I also kept the title the same with this and could be found in the search.  Amazingly, the title not only suits this one but is perfect. Nuance: subtle changes in tone.  Perhaps, the previous painting was just a stepping stone to this one.  Thank you, Bren for that insight!  This one will now need to be wired to hang as a vertical.

As I posted previously I have been feeling a need to change things up.  I've been feeling lately as if I was stuck in a rut....and so I am consciously attempting to step outside my box and try working with various other color palettes and approaches.  If your new to my site this painting is a much softer palette than what I have been using.  More of my colorful abstract paintings can be see on my website:
