Well, I haven't posted in over a week due to an upper back muscle strain, EXCRUCIATING..... OMG. I have not yet picked up a paintbrush (this is a previous painting) and to be honest I even wondered if I would be painting again. It amazes me how the abstract paintings really have a language of their own. If you scroll down to the last post and read- "Asleep" was speaking about a time for healing. The process is slow going, but going.... and just like the buds the desire to paint is VERY much there.... and that is a blessing! It's a new day......

I couldn't agree more with you about how abstract paintings have a life of their own.
That's why they're my favourite art form.
Beautiful!!
Your work is beautiful! I have really enjoyed seeing your new paintings as they go up....thanks for posting!! :)
I love all your abstracts Elizabeth! They're certainly not easy to do!!
I hope you're feeling better!!
Thank you guys for the ever so kind comments!
Oh Dear! Hi Elizabeth, I'm so sorry about your back and really hope you'll be able to paint again very soon. I love the "asleep" and totally agree with you on the life of their own those paintings have. Often we see it much later...
Take care, a big (cautious!) hug from Paris
love
Andrea
PS I put up a link on my blog to your's, hope that's ok with you.
