I've been working quite extensively lately on larger canvases in preparation for a show at Hawthorn's in May. (I posted "Rich"a palette knife painting several days ago) This one is much like one titled "Concentre" that sold there last fall. There is a lot of layering color and a play with shapes as I am working in this manner. This one is now hanging on our revolving wall! .....so we will get to enjoy it for a bit.

Hi and welcome to my blog!! I'm an abstract expressionist painter working from my home/studio in the beautiful Ozarks. I work intuitively with one idea, mark or color leading to the next then the next, and next until a painting emerges. Much like going on a trip without a plan. Pure adventure!
